The Friends of the Meads in Bridgwater invite you to come along on Saturday, 7th March at 1030 hrs and help to plant some sapling trees and wild primroses, making Sedgemoor a better place and delivering on climate change promises. 03/03/2020
The importance of maintaining our existing trees and planting more trees is becoming ever more apparent. They are essential for creating a healthier environment and removing the harmful emissions from the air.We will be meeting at the canal towpath entrance to the Meads (next to the storage container) - opposite the YMCA. As we only have a limited number of tools, please bring a trowel and spade if you are able. The ground will be damp, so please wear appropriate footwear and clothing. For further information please contact: Kathy Pearce 07732 736999 or Jacqui Soloman 07913 764882 or email us on [email protected] Follow us on our Facebook page: 'Friends of the Meads Bridgwater'The Meads is an area of low-lying public open space that is rich in biodiversity.
